Directions to
moments B&B
If travelling from Sydney, as you enter
Wentworth Falls village you will pass
through a set of lights with a large
pink hotel called The Grandview on your
left. Proceed through to the next set of
traffic lights and turn left off the
Highway into Falls Road
(approximately 200 metres).
If travelling from Katoomba, as you
enter Wentworth Falls village Blue
Mountains Grammar School is on your
left. Turn right off the Highway into
Falls Road at the next set of
traffic lights.
Proceed straight along Falls Road
approximately 1.2 kilometres, and
turn right into Fletcher Street.
(Look for a brown tourist sign pointing
to The Valley of the Waters at the
intersection of Falls Road and Fletcher
Street). Proceed straight along Fletcher
Street for approximately 500 metres and
veer left where Fletcher bends to the
right and turns into Valley Road.
Proceed straight ahead for a further 50
metres as Fletcher Street narrows.

The Blue Mountains is only 90 minutes
from downtown Sydney and can be reached
by car, rail, shuttle and scheduled
services.
Getting to the
Blue Mountains by Car

From
Sydney Airport (M5)
Proceed from the airport to the M5
Motorway. Turn west on M5 and proceed
until King Georges Road. Turn right on
King Georges Rd and follow until you get
to Homebush. Turn left onto the M4 and
travel west to the Blue Mountains.

From
Sydney - Via Great Western Highway (M4)
The most direct approach is to head west
from Sydney along Parramatta Road to the
M4 Motorway, which then turns into the
Great Western Highway and will take you
up the mountains. Please note that The
Toll costs $2.20.

From
Canberra/Melbourne - Via Goulburn and
Oberon
When travelling North on the Princes
Highway turn at Goulburn and proceed
through Goulburn turning left at the
turnoff to Wombeyan Caves. Proceed along
the Taralga Road to Taralga and
Abercrombie Road to Oberon. Note there
remains 15km of unsealed, although good
quality road in the process of being
sealed by late 2007.

Via
the Bells Line of Road via Windsor and
Richmond
From the city, take the Harbour Tunnel
or Harbour Bridge and follow the
Warringah Expressway straight through to
Lane Cove. Follow this through onto the
M2 Motorway until you reach the
Blacktown exit.
Turn right onto Burns Road and follow
this onto Old Windsor Road. This will
run into Windsor Road, turn right and it
will take you right into Windsor in
about an hours drive. Cross the
Hawkesbury River at Richmond and onto
the Bells Line of Road.

Lithgow and Hartley Valley
If you live in the West of the State you
can approach the Mountains via Lithgow
and Hartley Valley.
Getting to the
Blue Mountains by Rail
Rail services operate from Sydney to
Lithgow, stopping at all major villages
throughout the mountains. View recent

Getting to the
Blue Mountains by Scheduled Services
You can travel to the Blue Mountains by
using the daily GX255 service of
Greyhound Pioneer or McCaffertys.
Coaches depart Sydney from Eddy Avenue
and will set down in Katoomba at the E &
W bus stop on the Great Western Highway
or at Lithgow at McDonalds Family
Restaurant.
